We are trying to update DTR,CBS and runtime system details in CMS after system is migrated to new hardware,but getting following error.
Even after changing system details in landscape configuration,system is trying to reach old server url and not allowing us to update the track.
Both DTR and CBS looks ok on new system.
Any ideas?

we are trying to create a new track in NWDI, but we are facing some issues. While we are trying to save the development configuration, we are getting the following error message :

We have noticed that the error during save appears only when we tick the box for the build tool location creation.
Another thing we have noticed is that we cannot open CBS WebUI at all. There is no error message, but only a blank screen.
We will really appreciate your help towards solving the issue.

I am getting the error "some infrastructure servers could not be contacted" when trying to import a development configuration using NWDS 7.3. Both our NW Server and NWDS are 7.3. I can't seem to find a resolution. Any thoughts?

We have implemented the CTS+ functionality in our NWDI portal landscape and tested the same. It is working fine.
Initially transports are created with SIDXXXXX ( *K900009) after this point, all the transports are creating with alphabets ( SIDK90000A, SIDK90000B, SIDK90000C etc.)
Could you please let me know why it is creating instead of numbers.
Is it standard behavior if not please let me know how to correct this.

I have installed a new NetWeaver Version 7.4 on top of it i have successfully installed Billerdirect 635.
I am able to configure XCM and use Billerdirect.In order to do some custom changes i have installed DI and created a track using NWA.
In the process of creating an track template i don't see the netweaver version 7.4 in it, It's showing NW 7.3 and below.
Even after creating Track, When i see in CMS my dependencies in FSCM_BD are 730. I have also verified in SLD for FSCM_BD it is showing up 730 version software dependence.
Can i go-head and check in the code in to tracks and ask developer to change the code, will that effect my BD server because my NW it's on 7.4 and the software components are 730.

Hello, folks.
I have a specific task of finding files in DTR that were changed during specific time period. Can anybody give pointers how to get that information? I tried CBS and executed search on requests that were activated during that time period, but it lists components that were involved, and not specific files. Ideally, I'd like to see a list similar to the log that shows when you check in your files, listing which files were uploaded and which were skipped.

I am facing issue while transporting BPM project.
My scenario is:
I am using single SLD for Dev and Test environments.
We have BPM already present on Dev and test environments.
Received a new change for the existing BPM. we have undeployed the existing BPM on Dev environment and created a new BPM on dev environment by adding the changes.
The changed BPM is deployed on dev successfully and tested also.
After we transport the new changed BPM to test environmet, it is giving error while importing the TR:
Error is:

Any ideas on my issue.

We have one NWDI system but one more NWDI system is required (due to access restrictions in the existing NWDI). The existing NWDI system uses our central SLD system. This is the only SLD system we have in the SAP landscape.
Is there any danger if the new (second) NWDI system also uses this central SLD? I have not found any text about this scenario.

we are new to nwdi 7.4 version , in earlier version 7.01 we didnt had application template , but here we have application template option , we are creating a track for wdj development as well as portal development , so we are confused to choose between j2ee 7.3 or webdynpro 7.3 , please suggest a solution.

I am new to NWDI. I did some code modifications in my DC. When i check in my activity, it gets activated, but not getting deployed. At first i was getting authentication problem, that is resolved now. Now i get this CMS log:

Hi everybody,
we use NWDI and want to check-In a new created project (CAF-Projekt). we get always the following error message:
FAILED: CHECKIN on activity act_w_FPMX_failed :
The operation was aborted because: Project "fpmx.fe_cafproject": Generated code is not in sync with the model.
Regenerate the project before check-in.:operation failed at13:33:04.607
What could be the problem, is the NWDI not configured correctly?
We have no problems with other prjects like Web Dynpro...
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I have just created a new composite application from nwds, and once it is created I am not able to check in. It has below error message:

What does it means with regenerate?
I have tried to build the dc and still it does not work.
Any help there?

From my developer studio I tried to import a configuration just created from the infrastriucture configuration panel on the NWA.
On the NWDS I select -import development configuration from SLD then I select my configuration and I can see all the software components associated... but when I click to finish and enter my credential I get the following error:

Looks like it cannot create the workspace but I don't really know where it is suppose to create it.
If anyone can help me will pay with a ton of points!

We are going to update EP to 7.4 from 7.01.
And one of the post update requirment would be to re-compile all the WD JAVA application
But we are in situation where NWDI tracks whave got corrupted somehow.
Could any bodyplease tell me if there is/are any licensed toolto recover those tracks.

I'm using Jenkins for my development tasks and continuous integration.
Recently I came to a project using NWDI. I'm a JavaScript developer using SAPUI5, and all the source code is checked into NWDI. As I want to continue using Jenkins, I'm searching for a plugin to access the source code inside of NWDI out of Jenkins.
I want to check for changed files for a DC. If there are changed files, checkout the whole project and perform the unit tests and integration tests. However, I don't know how to get the sources out of NWDI.
I don't want to use Eclipse (NWDS) to check out files, or even switch to Subversion and don't use NWDI at all.
Do you know about a solution for this issue?

NWDS --> Development Infrastucture --> New --> Dev Configuration --> import from SLD
I am getting an ERROR while importing the Development Configuration.
Error message:
Error during XML communication Exc=com.sap.cms.client.connector.CMSConnectorException: Unable to open connection to host ales:50,000 [The IP address of the host could not be resolved. Maybe the URL is misspelled or the host does no longer exist] [Error: com.sap.cms.client.ideAPI.CmsConfiguration Thread[ModalContext,6,main]]
I have to consume webservice from third party system.
1. I have imported the WSDL.
2. I selected the Java DC and trying to generate client , but getting message like "Specified project is a java project"
From Hook DC i have to call webservice that's why going for standalone proxy.
