NWDI Track : Custom SC not getting Imported in Development Tab
Hi All,
We are migrating the custom WDJ code from 7.01 to 7.4. I followed the thread below and created SC Version 2.0 (added dependencies of required 7.4 SCs) and then new track for 7.4.
How to Migrate Developed Software Components to a New Release in NWDI
After this I Forwarded the old SC from the 7.01 track to new track. When I try to import the custom SC then it gives the below error
Please suggest how to import the old SC to Development tab.

Can’t change SLD in the CM Services
We have done a NWDI 7.20 server migration using swpm backup and restore procedure.
But now after the migration we can’t change (or create new Development Configuration) SLD in the CM Services. Does anyone know how to change SLD Url and CM Services Url in Development Infrastructure: Development Configuration Management?
Or have we missed something during the migration?

Synchronization SCs in NWDI
Hi All,
I am looking for purpose of Synchronization SCs in NWDI and When normally we perform this activity.
I tried to search some information but could not find anything satisfactory.

restart singular jco proces ?
I can see on my nwdi again and again that some jco processes seem to be hanging. they havn't no activity since days. The other processes show activity in seconts interval. On the same node. Last week this was the reason for complete crash of the j2ee.
It is possible to kill / restart the singular jco process, without restarting the jco-app?

Buildspace for fresh development in NWDI
Hello Experts,
We have a new NWDI track designed with all the requied dependents software components. We want to copy few local DCs to newly developed NWDI track. To do so I have imported the new track in to NWDS however I choose 'trackname_D' buildspace while importing the track. Now I have done the DC migration from local to NWDI track but when I am trying to import DCs to different Portal runtime systems its giving an error saying no archive found to deploy in 'trackname_C' buildspace.
Did I wrongly copied local DCs to trackname_D buildspace initially instead of trackname_C buildspace ? Is there any way to import the archive using trackname_D buildspace ? Or I need to import the track again using trackname_C buildspace in to NWDS and copy the local DCs ?

Reset NWDI to last active/stable version
Dear All,
We are on SAP NW 7.01 and we have performed some changes to the ESS application and there was an issue with the component and we started having problems with the build.
We wanted to know is there a way we can revert the compartment to a previous stable state and restart with the changes. I tried the "Initialize" option in CBS, but still we are unable to get rid of the errors in NWDS when we import the project.

"Configurations list empty" error in NWDS
Hello All,
While trying to import tracks to NWDS from SLD, its giving "configuration list is empty " error.
am using NWDS 7.2 SP09 version.

Error in syncing NWDI code
Hi,
We have recently patched the Framework and WD-RUNTIME and its dependencies and they are at the below patch level:

Also the NWDS was updated from NWDS 7.31 SP12 Patch 01 to NWDS 7.31 SP12 Patch 12. After the upgrade of NWDS, we are following some sync error in SAP_BUILDT
The error says "Access is denied" in tc/bi/jlincbs in SAP_BUILDT. Any pointers for this issue?

Issue with NWDI setup for BPM configuration
Dear NWDI Experts,
I am trying to establish the connection between NWDS and NWDI(7.5 SP4) for the NWBPM object creation ,have done the following steps:
1.Created the SWCV in the SLD and declared the dependencies as per the sap note 2313256( COMP_BUILDT, BPEM-BUILDT, BPEM-CONTENT,BPEM-COLLAB,BPEM-FACADE (for BPM public API usage),BPEM_MM,CU-BASE-JAVA,CU-BASE-WD,DATA-MAPPING,ECM-CORE,ENGFACADE,ESCONF_BUILDT,ESMP_BUILDT,FP-INFRA,FRAMEWORK,MOIN_BUILDT,SAP_BUILDT,SERVICE-COMP,WD-RUNTIME,EP-FLP)
2. have created a development track in the CMS system, logged in the landscape configurator and imported the SWCV under track Data-SCs
3. Logged in the NWDS(7.31 sp17), connected to NWDI, imported the track in the NWDS, I can see the SWCV in the NWDS now, but when I am trying to create the process composer components, getting the error message as" software component does not support the selected development component type.Set the dependency to the software component containing the required development component for this type"
I am stuck here, any help is appreciated.

DCs not available under SCA in SAP NWDI
Hi All,
We have recently got request to add two SCAs KM-BC and KM-CM as dependency to our customized SCA.
We assigned dependency and after that we can see new SCAs KM-BC and KM-CM available in NWDI but now problem is when we expand these SCAs, We should see available DCs under these SCAs which can be utilized by developers for custom development but they do not see any DC available there.
Please suggest what we are missing there.

NWDI Upgrade
Hi All,
We are in process of upgrading our NWDI system.
Current Version is - NW 7.4, Oracle 11g
Target Version - NW 7.5 SP4, Oracle 12c
We are using CTS+ with CHARM functionality in our landscape where solman uses NWDI system to deploy components in Java system.
Now when we are upgrading NWDI system which is integrated with CHARM, We are trying to prepare any additional steps which we need to take care.
Please suggest -
1) With NW 7.5 upgrade preparation, Is there any additional recommended activities which we need to perform before starting upgrade or with offline backup any additional directory backups which need to be take care.
2) After the upgrade any step which might be mandatory to have CTS+ and CHARM working perfectly.
3) And in case we have our NWDI system down, Will the transport import be possible by Solman CHARM.

Error in Synchronization - Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Hi All,
We have SAP NWDI NW 7.4 running in our landscape, We are running synchronization service for one track and see below error -
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/sap/tc/buildcontroller/CBSBuildController : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0#
Checking on some thread, It looks like Java issue but not sure where we need to upgrade Java Version or any parameter we need to adjust.
Below are Java details at OS level of SAP NWDI server ->
INFO: [OS: Linux] [VM vendor: SAP AG] [VM version: 1.6.0_85] [VM type: SAP Java Server VM]
java -version
java version "1.6.0_24"
Also I was checking 2238332 which shows that our java compiler is mentioned as 52 in configuration where as we have SAP JVM 1.6, it should be 50.
As upgrading SAPJVM now is not an option, We are looking for some way to set value of java compiler in CBS to 50.
Please suggest what can we do to resolve this issue.
